If former Army Captain Francisc Toba had not become associated with the extremist AUR political party and AUR had not done so unexpectedly well in the recent parliamentary elections such that Toba was on the precipice of getting a seat in parliament, we may never have seen some of the pages of these testimonies from the files of the Military Prosecutor. Significantly, but if by now unsurprisingly, many of the details found in these testimonies completely undermine the longstanding claims of military prosecutors such as Voinea or Cosneanu.
