If former Army Captain Francisc Toba had not become associated with the extremist AUR political party and AUR had not done so unexpectedly well in the recent parliamentary elections such that Toba was on the precipice of getting a seat in parliament, we may never have seen some of the pages of these testimonies from the files of the Military Prosecutor. Significantly, but if by now unsurprisingly, many of the details found in these testimonies completely undermine the longstanding claims of military prosecutors such as Voinea or Cosneanu. Here are a few pages pulled about events prior to the flight of the Ceausescus at midday on 22 December 1989.

(As with part 1, I don’t have sufficient time right to now to transcribe many of the points I wish to, but rest assured, these details point to the cloaked but unmistakable role of Securitate personnel in the terrorism of post-22 December 1989…for now, I will leave it to readers to figure out why these pages have been selected, although I feel it should be pretty clear…this is stuff you definitely won’t find in the miserable documentaries of Cornel Mihalache that discuss pre 22 December and especially Sibiu, for example “Decembrie Rosu” 2019).

I will highlight one particular case, however, since it confirms an otherwise public claim, that of Nicolae (Gheorge) Cocos, who claimed to have been injured by a dum-dum bullet (the translation is bad; in Romanian he says dum-dum), ammunition only the Securitate terrorists possessed:
