Dosarul Revolutiei. The Past is Coming (58). Probleme Speciale (Urgent!): “Lt. Col. Rus Alexandru care a fost seful circulatiei pe capitala, a predat D-lui Grl. Once upon a time, Gelu Voican Voiculescu had a pretty good idea who the terrorists were. But like so many others, he began to…forget. Did it have something to do with his efforts to create what would become known as “doi si un sfert,” the unit that brought together among others former Securitate officers from Directorate IV and SMB? Probably, although only he can really answer that question.

As I have noted before: there were Securitate and Militie personnel who, whatever their motives, attempted to help those on the side of the Revolution and against the return of Nicolae Ceausescu by counter-revolution. This comes through in some of the documents from Dosarul Revolutiei. In this case it was Lt. Col. Rus Alexandru from the Militia and head of the unit charged with traffic in the capital.

Probleme Speciale (urgent!)

  1. Lt. Col. Rus Alexandru care a fost seful circulatiei pe capitala, a predat D-lui Grl. Balteanu Marin un ofiter de securitate care detinea planurile unitatii secrete U.S.L.A. si diverse informatii despre unele cuiburi ale acestora.

Once again, as in other cases (Marian Romanescu, Constantin Cirjan, etc.), if the terrorists did not exist, as the Rechizitoriu from April 2019 maintains and as so many former Securitate today maintain, or the terrorists existed but were most definitely not Securitate personnel (i.e. the Army itself, DIA, Soviets, Hungarians, etc.), then how is it possible that a Militia chief could present a Securitate officer who knows the secret plans of the U.S.L.A. and different details about “nests” of them. Cuiburi (“nests”) is a clear reference to “cuiburi de teroristi”…the places from where the counter-revolutionary forces still loyal to Nicolae Ceausescu and his communist regime fired and created such mayhem and death? The answer: the U.S.L.A. supplied at least some of the Securitate’s counter-revolutionary forces.

Gelu Voican Voiculescu once knew…
